The Digestive System for Platyhelminthes
The complete digestive system of the flatworms consists of mouth, a tube similar to pharynx and the intestine thats branched to the area where the flatworm absorbs nutrients (also known as the branched gastrovascular cavity.) The digestive system of flatworms is incomplete, not fully developed. Tapeworms do not even have a digestive system until they are almost adults.
